Bach Tournée - April 2011

For the first time Europa Galante plays Bach Orchestral Suites. First concert  of the tour will be on the 31th March in Mantua, and then  Rome, Florence, Perugia, Turin, Barcelona, San Sebastian and ends in May in Detmold.

The French magazine Diapason has given a “diapason d’or” to the new recording of Vivaldi’s Ercole sul Termodonte.

The prize has been awarded with the following reason:

"Genaux en reine des amazones et Villazon en Hercule, plus Damrau, Jaroussky, Di Donato, Basso, Ciofi, Lehtipuu : le plateau a tout l’air d’une vitrine de Noël, Vivaldi triomphe."
